Award Winning Books
The American Library Association announced the winners of this year's Youth Media Awards in January. For books for teens, look at the winners of the Printz, Alex, Edwards, Morris, and YALSA Nonfiction awards in particular. Others, like the Coretta Scott King, Pura Belpré, Schneider Family, Stonewall, and Odyssey awards, recognize books for both younger children and teens. Also look at the Quick Picks for Reluctant Young Adult Readers list, which compiles some of the past year’s most engaging reads. |
