Teen Read Week - Call for Student Reviews

This year's Teen Read Week theme is Seek the Unknown, and while it can be fun to read a book you know nothing about, it's also hard to jump into a totally new genre or pick up a book on a new subject.

So, help your fellow students seek the unknown. If you know a book that you want to recommend to everyone who hasn't met it yet, write a review for the Student Review Blog. There's a link at the top of the page, and once you're at the review blog, you'll see reviews students wrote last year as well as info about writing and submitting your own review.

A little mystery can be exciting. So can a little science fiction.
Or maybe a memoir? Try something different!
Not sure what to review or want to read something completely new? The library has a few ARCs - advance reader copies. These are pre-publication versions of books, the same ones that professional reviewers use. The ARCs on the shelf now were sent to the UHSL over the summer and we periodically get new ones, so if you're willing to read and review something completely unknown, come to the library and try these out.
