Anime/Manga Club has had an exciting few months! During our holiday festivities in December, we took some inspiration from Japan's
Tanabata Star Festival. An annual July event, one aspect of the celebration is hanging up wishes for success in the next year. Since we aren't in session in July and we were thinking about the coming new year, the club hung up their own tanabata wishes for success in 2018 at our meeting on December 15. Lacking a bamboo branch to hang them on, we made our own indoor stars!

At the club's January 26 meeting, Mrs. Dzivasen invited us into the culinary room to do some Japanese cooking. The club made
katsudon (pork cutlet) rice bowls, and we're pretty satisfied with the result!

Anime/Manga Club's annual cosplay day! We'll also be playing anime Kahoots and taking our group yearbook photo.
