This year for summer reading, students will earn 2 extra credit points added to a first quarter grade of their choice by doing the following 3 things:
- Read a book. Either choose from the list of recommended books at uhs2018summerreading.blogspot.com or use this Google Form to choose your own book.
- Complete ONE of the following activities:
- Discuss the book you read in the Summer Reading Google Classroom.
- Write a letter to a future reader explaining why you would or would not recommend your book.
- Identify 2 recent articles that connect to the book you read.
- Create a social media feed that represents a character from your book or the themes of the book.
- Create fanart or fanfiction based on your book.
- Submit your summer reading activity by Wednesday, September 12, 2018. The link where students can upload their work is at uhs2018summerreading.blogspot.com.
