UHS 2019 Summer Reading

Students at Uxbridge High School will have the opportunity to earn up to 2 extra credit points applied to a first quarter grade in one class next year by doing three things this summer:
  1. Read a book.
    You can choose any of the books recommended by staff and students on the summer reading website, or choose your own with approval from Ms. C.
  2. Complete ONE of the following activities:
    • Write a letter to a future reader about why you would or would not recommend the book.
    • Create fanart based on your book.
    • Identify 2 recent articles that tie into the topics or themes of your book.
    • Create a social media feed that represents a character or theme from your book.
    • Discuss the book you read in the Summer Reading Google Classroom.
  3. Submit your activity online at uhs2019summerreading.blogspot.com by Tuesday, September 10, 2019.
For the list of recommended books, information about how to select your own book, and more details about completing and submitting one of the summer activities, pick up a packet in the library or go to uhs2019summerreading.blogspot.com.
